Rust Control Limited was established to give Nigeria's oil and gas industry a genuinely indigenous engineering capability, one able to execute complex EPC projects to international standards without relying on foreign contractors for every specialist task.
We began where the need was greatest: protecting steel from corrosion. From early painting and corrosion-protection contracts on onshore and offshore fabrication projects at the turn of the 2000s, we built a reputation for doing the difficult, demanding work properly. That reputation opened doors.
In the years that followed, RUSCOL grew into a full multi-discipline contractor, adding pipeline construction, fabrication, marine repair, facility maintenance and procurement to its core corrosion-management expertise.
Our objective for the years ahead is simple and ambitious: to become one of Africa's leading EPC contractors, without losing the field-earned discipline that got us here.

Rust Control is directed by its Board and led operationally by Managing Director Chris Iheagwara, supported by discipline managers across engineering, construction, projects, commercial, procurement & logistics, QA/QC, HSE and HR.
Behind them stands a multidisciplinary workforce that is the real engine of our delivery: project managers, mechanical, civil, pipeline and structural engineers, AWS-certified welders, ASNT NDT personnel, QA/QC inspectors, HSE professionals, planning engineers, quantity surveyors and skilled technicians, people who have spent their careers on live sites.
